Scott has worked in retail mortgage lending since 1989 after graduating with a degree in business from Towson University. After working several years as a loan officer, Scott was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager consistently winning top honors and accolades for his customer service and for maintaining a consistently high-quality loan portfolio.
Scott has an extensive background in originating, processing, and closing a variety of conventional and government-insured programs including FHA (traditional as well as 203k renovation loans and HECM reverse mortgage loans), VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and a wide range of portfolio construction, jumbo and private placements. Scott is a noted and experienced expert with the FHA 203k Renovation Loan. Over the span of his career, Scott has personally helped thousands of homeowners and homebuyers.
Scott is an avid sports fan and currently serves as President of the Sports Boosters of Maryland, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that raises funds to help finance athletics for children. Scott is a long-time resident of Reisterstown Maryland, where he lives with his wife and children.
